When we approached The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency looking for hot new Latina models, we weren’t sure what to expect. Selecting models for OYE can be a hard task (really), but as soon as CC Fontana stepped into the room, our job was like a piece of cake. At 5’9”—without heels—with an exquisite body and gorgeous face CC not only turns heads, she breaks necks. Thank you Janice Dickinson for introducing us to CC! Thank you CC for such a great cover! And thank you to my chiropractor for fixing my jacked up neck.

How much has your career progressed since we saw you on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency?
A lot more than I expected. A lot of people recognize me on the street and I’m working a lot more now because casting directors recognize me off the show.

Did you have a feeling OYE was going to pick you?
I had a feeling I was the type of girl you were looking for. I knew I had to bring it at the casting, but I had no idea that I would get on the cover. It was something I was hoping for since I shot with you. It was a big surprise. That should open more doors now.

Janice didn’t seem too crazy about shooting with Joey Medina, what did you think of that?
I think Joey Medina is funny. He loves women, and he loves to be around women. Janice likes vogue, and Joey is just not her definition of vogue. No hard feelings.

So what was the problem you had with our fourth model?
You know how reality TV makes things 100 times worse than they really are. I had no problem really. Janice was mad because another model came out of nowhere. She wanted her own models only. I just agreed with Janice. I think it should be Janice’s models. But hey, some of her models didn’t fit OYE’s criteria, so the fourth model had to jump in. She was a hottie in her own way.

“In her own way?” Funny, that doesn’t really sound like you’re complimenting her. But anyway, is Janice Dickinson really crazy, or is it just TV that makes her seem that way?
If she wasn’t who she was, we wouldn’t be interested in the next thing she says. She’s a caring, beyond intelligent, super-style, savvy woman with too much to do and no time to do it. That lifestyle will make anyone crazy. But she just doesn’t hold anything back—TV or not.

Is CC an abbreviation for your full name?
My nickname is short for my full name, which is Christina Candice. It just was so catchy it stuck.

When you go out to bars, do you give out your number?
Let’s just say I gave out my number one time, and I will never do it again.

Have you ever given out a fake number or the rejection line number?
It’s hard for me to give out a fake number because guys want to call right in front of you so when your phone doesn’t ring or someone else picks up, then you get caught.

Have you ever ended up dating someone you met in a bar?
Yes, and it was the longest relationship I’ve had!

Would you rather date a guy who’s a comic book nerd or the buff gym rat?
Neither. I like a guy I can get ready with and use all his stuff if I forget mine. I like pretty boys. Good smelling, nice hair, baby smooth and always smells like he just came out the shower.

In your line of work, who asks you out more, photographers or “producers”?
Both! It’s funny when photographers tell me they are gay so they can get more “friendly” with me. Then I find out they have an ex-girlfriend. It’s an “ask the ‘it girl’ out” business because everyone wants to be seen with a sexy model who’s “it” right now.

Have you ever gone out with a guy who you thought was a baller, but actually turned out to be a loser?
Yes! He wanted to get a bigger apartment and put it in my name. He had to turn in his car for “reasons.” Then he told me his accounts were frozen and he needed money to bail his cousin out of jail. That was the worst.

What’s something a guy can do that is an automatic “baja panties”?
A guy who tells me to wait…whew, then it gets wild.

Have you ever asked out a guy?
No, because they’d automatically think I’m going to give them some.

How tall does a guy have to be to ride your amusement park?
For me to go out with a guy he has to be 6’ and above. The taller than me they are, the better—because I’m 5’9”.

If you had to make up a porn star name for yourself, what would it be?
What are you talking about? CC Fontana is so the perfect porn star name! But if I was to follow the porn star guidelines—middle name and street I grew up on—it would be Candice Newport.

What’s next for you?
My album is coming out soon through my own label, World Star Entertainment Group. I am in the process of doing a big screen film. And I am working on creating my own reality show. That will be one to watch!
