A vice is something you just can’t say no to. Which is what makes Jessenia Vice’s name so fitting. I certainly wasn’t able to say no to her. Such is the power of her beauty, allure and persona. “Can you put me in OYE?” she asked.
“Of course,” I replied.
“Can I be on the cover?”
“Your wish is my command,” I responded as I wiped the drool off our chin.
“Will you marry me?” was her next request.
Okay, she never asked me that last question, but a man can dream.
You’ve only been modeling for about a year and are already making waves. To what do you attribute your rapid success?
Thank you! It’s been an incredible ride so far. I think what separates me from the norm is that I’m not hungry for fame. I’m a hard worker, true to myself, and well rounded. Everything I’ve done has been through my own efforts. I don’t have an agent or a manager. So far, I’ve been on The Tyra Show with Kim Kardashian, where I won the title of “Queen of the Kims Look-Alikes,” and today I find myself on the cover of OYE Magazine!
You’re not the average ditzy model. Tell us about your other career and what it means to you?
What most people don’t know about me is that I work fulltime at an emergency room. I decided to go into nursing when my grandmother passed away due to the negligence of a nurse. Since then I’ve been helping the sick, their families and their friends. I love my job! It is something I’ll always have whenever the modeling and acting subsides.
Do you prefer to hang out with guys or girls?
Guys! Growing up with two older brothers I was such a tomboy and till this day I can hang with guys. Yes, there are times I wish I could have a group of girlfriends to go shopping with or go out dancing with, but for the most part women are catty!
