Xbox 360 Loaded

February 28th, 2010

We here at OYE love our Xbox 360. Whenever pressure builds due to approaching deadlines, psychotic models, or crabby coworkers we take a break to vent our anger and frustration out on a good Xbox game. Which is why we feel pretty well qualified to tell you what your ultimate Xbox setup should look like. That and we also want to take this opportunity to show off our own system(s).

First we have our standard console which all the regular employees have access to. But our peons are actually pretty lucky. They have a 120 GB Xbox console with wireless controllers hooked up via HDMI to a HD plasma TV. The system connects to our wireless network with the help of the Xbox Wireless Adaptor.

Using Xbox Live makes sending text messages critical so we have one controller hooked up with the Messenger Kit. That makes chatting/texting a snap and it’s also pretty useful for normal gameplay anytime you have enter names and such.

We have a lot of big car racing fans here so there is no way you will find us steering a car with a regular controller. (That should be outlawed.) The Wireless Racing Wheel and Wireless Racing Pedals really are a must have item if you’re going to play any racing games.

BTW, if you want to try an AWESOME racing game you have to check out Forza Motorsport 3. Definitely one of the baddest racing games you will ever play. Check out this video clip:

But our coup de grace and holy gaming grail, is our GTA IV Limited Edition Xbox. There were only 190 of these made and we are lucky enough to own one. Luckily most of the scrubs in the office will never get their grubby hands on it, but it is a sight to behold. We have to thank Big Estevan Oriol and Victor Carillo at Soul Assassins Studio for hooking this baby up. It’s a wonder we ever get any work done around here.
